RNC Chair Michael Steele addressed the "Women Winning The West" summit, held Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Denver, Colorado.  Chairman Steele urged Republican women not to abandon their activism but to increase their level of involvement, especially at the grass roots level.  He stated the role of women within the Republican Party must increase, both as activists and as candidates for office.  

Jan Larimer, RNC Co-Chair, hosted the summit along with the Colorado Republican Party.
