“Senator Killpack's decision to resign from the Utah Senate was, I am sure, a difficult decision to make.  It is completely within Sheldon’s character to accept full and complete responsibility for his actions.  Senator Killpack has served his district and the people of Utah with distinction and his leadership will be greatly missed.  I wish both he and his family the very best at this time.

We will work with the Davis County Republican Party to move the selection process for a new Senator ahead as quickly as possible.”
