Raelene Blocker
Raised on a small farm in southern Utah, I am a testament to the enduring values of hard work, perseverance, and devotion—skills honed not least through the art of milking a cow. My upbringing, under the care of a widowed mother of 10, instilled in me the importance of gratitude, the drive to achieve, and a commitment to contribute more to society than we take from it. Witnessing the generosity of others during our times of need left a profound impact on me, fueling my desire to be a pillar of support within my community.
I hold a BA in International Relations from BYU, where I also met my beloved husband, Rob. Together, we have four wonderful children, with three alumni of Morgan High School and one currently attending as a junior. Furthering my education, I graduated with a Master of Legal Studies from the SJ Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, where I also served as an Assistant Instructor teaching Conflict Resolution. Presently, I work as a Domestic Mediator, dedicated to transforming conflict through cooperation rather than competition.
