Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025

• Location: UCCU Center, Utah Valley University, Orem, UT

Volunteer Roles and Shifts:

1. Set Up Volunteer (Friday, May 16, 2025)

   • Check-In Time: 6:30 PM

   • Shift Time: 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM

   • Role: Assist with setting up tables, banners, boxes, and equipment.

   • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing (may need to lift/carry), comfortable shoes, water bottle (if desired), phone for texts, work gloves (if desired).

   • Provided: Snacks, parking passes.

2. Early Floating Volunteer

   • Check-In Time: 6:30 AM

   • Shift Time: 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM

   • Role: Direct delegates/guests, count floor votes, assist with Lost & Found or ADA support.

   • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing (Utah GOP t-shirt provided, jeans without holes, no sweats), comfortable shoes, water bottle (if desired), phone for texts.

   • Provided: Breakfast, snacks, parking passes.

3. Election Volunteer

   • Check-In Time: 10:00 AM

   • Shift Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

   • Role: Assist with passing out ballots, collecting/tabulating, crowd control, floor counts.

   • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing (Utah GOP t-shirt provided, jeans without holes, no sweats), comfortable shoes, water bottle (if desired), phone for texts.

   • Provided: Lunch, snacks, parking passes.

4. Floating Volunteer

   • Check-In Time: 11:00 AM

   • Shift Time: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

   • Role: Direct delegates/guests, count floor votes, assist with Lost & Found or ADA support.

   • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing (Utah GOP t-shirt provided, jeans without holes, no sweats), comfortable shoes, water bottle (if desired), phone for texts.

   • Provided: Lunch, snacks, parking passes.

5. Load Out Volunteer

   • Check-In Time: 3:30 PM

   • Shift Time: 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM

   • Role: Assist with packing up and loading out tables, banners, boxes, and equipment.

   • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing (may need to lift/carry), comfortable shoes, water bottle (if desired), phone for texts, work gloves (if desired).

   • Provided: Dinner, snacks, parking passes.

Volunteer Orientation (Virtual Options):

• Tuesday, May 6, 2025: 6:30 PM or 8:00 PM

• Wednesday, May 7, 2025: 7:00 PM

• Thursday, May 8, 2025: 7:00 PM A detailed schedule and role assignments will be discussed during the trainings.
