Since Utah became a state in 1896, the Utah Republican Party has been a leading voice for conservative values, personal freedom, and strong communities. From the beginning, Republicans have shaped the policies that make Utah one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family.
With a legacy of electing principled leaders, driving economic prosperity, and standing up for the Constitution, the Utah GOP continues to lead the way. Today, we remain committed to protecting individual liberties, strengthening families, and ensuring a bright future for generations to come.
Join us as we work to keep Utah strong, free, and full of opportunity!
Every two years the Republican Party convenes at a state organizing convention where party leadership is elected. Candidates spend two months campaigning across the state of Utah in an effort to win the votes of state delegates.
Four positions are elected to lead the party – Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. This team works in conjunction with the State Central Committee to unify the party, manage party finances and craft a statewide strategy.
