Message from the Chairman:

As we approach November, we should remember that self-government depends on citizens willing to stand up, participate, and defend the principles that sustain a free society.

Utah has been blessed by a strong tradition of faith, family, service, hard work, and personal responsibility. These values have helped make our state strong. They are worth preserving.

So are the principles at the heart of our constitutional Republic: individual liberty, limited government, free enterprise, the rule of law, and government accountable to the people.

We cannot assume those principles will endure on their own.

Across America, socialism is again being presented as progress. Even more concerning, the other major political party is increasingly giving socialist ideas a place within its coalition and public debate. History gives us ample reason to take those ideas seriously. Socialist and authoritarian systems have repeatedly concentrated power in government, suppressed individual liberty, and contributed to profound human suffering.

We should be clear about where Utah stands.

We believe in freedom over government control. We believe families and communities are stronger when decisions remain close to the people. We believe opportunity grows when individuals are free to work, build, worship, innovate, and pursue their own future. And we believe the Constitution remains the surest foundation for protecting those freedoms.

These are not outdated ideas. They are enduring principles that must be understood, defended, and advanced.

Utah's success has also attracted the attention of national organizations and outside interests that want to reshape our state. We should welcome honest debate, but we should never surrender Utah's future to those who do not share the principles that have made our communities strong.

Our responsibility is to preserve what is good while building something even better for the next generation.

That requires courage. It requires participation. And it requires each of us to recognize that liberty is never self-sustaining.

Utah can continue to be a model of strong families, thriving communities, economic opportunity, and constitutional government. But that future depends on people willing to defend these principles and pass them on.

The work is ours. The responsibility is ours. And Utah is worth defending.

Fellow Republicans,

When it comes to elections, I’ve seen and fought against the craziest things for years. As a member of the RNC Election Integrity Committee and Utah's RNC Election Integrity Chair, I have helped direct initiatives to protect our vote. As a member of the RNC Budget Committee, I have made sure we fund those efforts. The fight is working, and we are still winning. We have engaged in over 150 lawsuits to make sure every legal vote counts and every illegal one doesn't. We are defending Louisiana’s proof of citizenship law, and we stopped Wisconsin Democrats’ scheme to allow voters to "redo" absentee ballots after they'd already been cast.

We support the good work of the DOJ and DHS to investigate election problems and pursue all available remedies for unlawful activity and noncompliance with voting rights.

History says Republicans will have a hard time retaining control of the House and Senate this November. But there are factors history hasn’t seen before. In addition to the fact that Democrats have put radical socialist and communists on their ballots, we have over $128 million cash on hand, with no debt, compared to the DNC’s $16 million cash on hand and $18 million of debt.As Chairman Gruters notes, “We're in great shape in our effort to defy history. I think we have a real opportunity to do it, but we need everybody to come together."Let’s defy history this November!!!

Recent Wins & Updates

Throughout July, the Party remained focused on strengthening organizational operations and advancing efforts across the state. We continued close coordination with county parties, the RNC, and Republican candidates, while building momentum in preparation for the upcoming general election.

A few highlights from this month:

Hosted a luncheon featuring a Utah District Attorney candidate and Utah’s State Treasurer to engage supporters and highlight Republican leadership across the state
Coordinated closely with the RNC in preparation for the upcoming primary election
Worked alongside Republican candidates and nominees to strengthen campaign readiness and voter engagement efforts
Strengthened internal organization and collaboration with county parties across the state
Engaged with a dozen State Executive Directors from Republican parties nationwide
Partnered with the RNC on the GROW (Growing Republican Organizations to Win) program

We appreciate your continued involvement as we prepare for the upcoming general elections. Our Party remains focused on coordination, organization, and supporting Republican candidates and county parties across Utah in the months ahead.
