2026 State Convention
Thank you for your interest in covering the Utah Republican Party 2026 Nominating Convention. We welcome members of the press to witness and report on the proceedings as our 4,000 delegates gather to shape the future of our state.
Important Notice Regarding Access
Please Note: Space in the press area is limited. Submission of this request form does not guarantee the issuance of credentials. All applications will be reviewed by the Convention Communications Committee, and notification of status will be sent via email.
Credentials are non-transferable and must be displayed at all times while at the convention.
Credentialing Criteria
To ensure a productive working environment for professional journalists, credentials will be prioritized for:

Established News Outlets: Reporters and photographers from recognized newspapers, wire services, and broadcast stations.

Niche & Trade Publications: Outlets with a proven track record of covering state politics or relevant industry news.

Freelance Journalists: Must provide a letter of assignment from a valid news organization.

Digital Creators/Bloggers: Must demonstrate a significant, relevant audience and a history of professional coverage.
Application Timeline

Notification of Status: All applicants will be notified by April 23, 2036 regarding their approval status and instructions for on-site pickup.
