Thank you for your service to our state and participation in the nominating process. It was fantastic to meet so many of you on Saturday and to see countless examples of patriotism. With more candidates, races, and rounds of voting than we have ever had, it made for an historic, albeit very long day–certainly longer than any of us would have liked. And yet, the commitment of delegates throughout the day was extraordinary and nothing short of inspiring. We are grateful for your sacrifice and commitment to participate in the important business of electing our Republican convention candidates.

In the last few days, we’ve seen concerted efforts to downplay the importance of the caucus-convention system, or to suggest that it’s outdated. I wholeheartedly disagree. You can see the response of the Party here:

Caucus Booklet
While we need to make improvements and learn from what works and what doesn’t, I believe this system has contributed to making Utah as great as it is. As we improve the caucus-convention system and educate more on how it provides the path for any Utahn to participate, it will continue to prepare our candidates for office by connecting them to people they hope to represent. This will prepare them to fight for the best policies and principles espoused in our US Constitution and in our Party. We wanted to share this Caucus Booklet with you so you can better understand the foundation of the Caucus System, the benefits, the expectations to fulfill your delegate duties, and other delegate resources.

We hope you’ll continue to fulfill your delegate duties for the full two years of your term by supporting the convention candidates through the Primary and General elections, hosting cottage meetings with non-delegate friends, family, and neighbors, writing articles or social media content that is based on our party platform and designed to educate and inform, and more. The sky’s the limit on the powerful impact you may have on our next elections and in helping Utah reach its full potential.

We want to congratulate all our convention winners who will continue on to the primary election on June 25th. We thank all our Republican candidates for their efforts and time over the past several weeks to promote the principles of our platform and their ideas to improve our state.
Please take a minute to review the Election Results through the button below- you will be directed to folders containing the results for each election. Within each folder you will find the “Cast Vote Record” for that election, where you can locate your unique confirmation code for each race and ensure that your vote was counted as you intended. We put great effort into running auditable and transparent elections (as required by our bylaws) through the Election Buddy system. We know you can have confidence in those results by auditing your own votes, as well as the aggregate count of each election, and know that they were administered with the highest degree of integrity and security.

As we were planning the convention, we knew we would have some unique challenges this year due to the sheer number of candidates & races, venue restrictions, and space limitations. We continue to do our own post-convention evaluations to improve future convention experiences, but we’d appreciate any constructive feedback you’d like to share with us. Please click the button below to complete a short survey with your feedback; you're welcome to share anything else to [email protected].

CALL TO ACTION
Please support the party by making a donation below. As I mentioned at convention, we will deploy resources to win seats throughout Salt Lake County, bring new voters into the Party, and assist our Republican neighbors in Arizona and Nevada to win elections in November. Be part of our efforts to keep Utah Red and rescue our nation's future!
