Walter Brooks
85RC
National Delegate At-Large - Candidate Utah House 75
I am a native of St. George and live in the home I grew up in and my Great Grandpa built in the late 1800's.
I have a great love for Southern Utah. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
My wife Jennifer and I met while we were attending Dixie College. We married a few years later while attending SUU then made our home in St. George. We have 5 children ranging from 15 - 24.
I received my B.S. from Dixie State University in Business Administration. I have been an owner/operator of small businesses, the Director of Sales for an electronics manufacturer and currently am the Managing Member of RxTrax, a small software company.
Over the past 4 terms I have been able to create legislation that protects the unborn, reduce regulations, secure our 2nd Amendment rights, bring more transparency to our State-owned properties, and to reduce taxes, especially those on Social Security. There are many other bills that we were able to modify, cleaning up problems that have a negative effect on our quality of life.
I have learned so much and feel like I have been able to stand strong for conservative principles that reflect our values here in Southern Utah. There is always room for me to improve and I will do so.
I take this responsibility seriously and will work my hardest to represent the people of Southern Utah and the principles of the Constitution.
