The Utah Republican Party invites all State Delegates and interested Republicans to participate in the 2025 State Organizing Convention. This pivotal event will shape the future leadership and direction of our party.
Purpose of the Convention
The State Organizing Convention is held in odd-numbered years to elect state party officers, including:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
Delegates will also discuss and vote on constitution amendments and party bylaws that are properly submitted by delegates for consideration, according to the Party's bylaws.
Delegate Participation
State Delegates elected during the 2024 precinct caucus meetings are expected to attend and fulfill their responsibilities in shaping the party's leadership and policies. If you're unsure of your delegate status, please contact your county party officials.
Registration Process
For security reasons, all attendees - delegates and non-delegates - must RSVP. Delegate RSVPs will be shared with delegates' respective county parties so that the county parties can validate eligibility and make replacements when needed according to their county bylaws. This also ensures that delegates are getting all event updates from the Convention Committee to correct contact information. Whether a delegate has RSVP'd will be shared with all candidates in real time to ensure fairness and accessibility to all data.
Non-delegate attendees such as delegate guests, spouses or the media must RSVP to ensure sufficient seating and the security of the event. Non-delegate attendees are not guaranteed admittance.
An RSVP is not the same as credentialing. Upon arrival, delegates will be directed to credential with the credentialing team to receive their credential to vote. If a delegate forgets to RSVP, he or she can do so at the same time as credentialing. Guests will be directed to register with the registration team to receive their entrance ticket.
State Delegate Credentialing
All State Delegates will need to be credentialed in order to cast a vote. Credentialing will begin at 7:30AM.
Candidate Information
Candidates for party leadership positions will have the opportunity to present their vision and plans for the Utah Republican Party. Delegates are encouraged to engage with candidates, ask questions, and make informed decisions during the elections. Candidates will also have booths to meet with delegates on the morning of convention.
After you fill out the form below and send your RSVP you will be directed to another page to answer questions. Your registration is only complete when you have answered the questions.
