State Delegates of the Utah Republican Party gathered for their bi-annual Organizing Convention at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, to elect party officers that will serve for the next two years.

Filing is now open for any Republican who would like to represent Utah at the national level during the Republican National Convention (National Delegates are tasked with casting a vote to officially determine the Republican Presidential nominee), following the general election (Presidential Electors cast a vote in the Electoral College), or as a member of the RNC (as the National Committeeman or National Committeewoman).

Caucus is on March 5, 2024 starting at 7pm. It will last approximately until 9pm. We encourage folks to arrive early.

Today is Election Day—an opportunity to stand up for the future of our state and nation. If you haven’t voted yet, make it a priority before polls close. Every vote matters. Every voice counts.

The Utah Republican Party will permit registered Republican voters from Utah to participate in the caucus by voting absentee under the same rights and processes available to UOCAVA voters in normal Utah elections.

Limits on the size of gatherings have been removed, and the statewide mask mandate will be lifted April 10th.

I want you to know how much I value my life-long membership in the Republican Party, and I am honored to serve the constituents of House District 4, Cache Valley, and the state of Utah.

As I am writing this, it is June 6, 2019, the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord or more commonly known as the D-Day Invasion of Continental Europe. 

Two weeks ago, a group of individuals hung a large 30 X 60-foot flag from the old Thatcher building on Center and Main. The flag draped the front of the historic building, but it seemed to hang over the entire Cache Valley—a community reeling and hurting and, ultimately, healing from the previous tragic days when we learned together that a 5 year old girl, Lizzie Shelley, had gone missing and was later found dead.
