State Delegates Elect New Party Officers
State Delegates of the Utah Republican Party gathered for their bi-annual Organizing Convention at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, to elect party officers that will serve for the next two years.

Candidate Filing Open: National Delegate, Presidential Elector and Committeeperson
Filing is now open for any Republican who would like to represent Utah at the national level during the Republican National Convention (National Delegates are tasked with casting a vote to officially determine the Republican Presidential nominee), following the general election (Presidential Electors cast a vote in the Electoral College), or as a member of the RNC (as the National Committeeman or National Committeewoman).

Flag Day 2
Two weeks ago, a group of individuals hung a large 30 X 60-foot flag from the old Thatcher building on Center and Main. The flag draped the front of the historic building, but it seemed to hang over the entire Cache Valley—a community reeling and hurting and, ultimately, healing from the previous tragic days when we learned together that a 5 year old girl, Lizzie Shelley, had gone missing and was later found dead.
