Dear Delegates,
Saturday’s Utah Republican State Convention at UVU was a tremendous success, and it’s because of you. With 2,650 delegates representing all 29 counties, your commitment to our shared principles and to the process itself made the day both memorable and meaningful.
We started on time, ended on time, and moved through a full agenda with purpose, order, and respect. That kind of success reflects the incredible work of volunteers who kept everything running smoothly—from credentialing and floor management to tech support and hospitality.
Special thanks to Jessica Christopher, our parliamentarian, whose calm presence and command of the rules were essential in navigating a fast-moving floor with clarity and precision. I could not have done it without her.
I’m also grateful for the kind comments many of you have shared since the convention. While I was honored to chair, I know what made the event work was you—your preparation, your patience, and your professionalism.
Having my daughter Sophie by my side made the day even more meaningful, reminding me why we do this important work—and made our In-N-Out stop on the way home one I’ll never forget.
Thank you for the trust you placed in me, for your service as delegates, and for continuing to move our party forward with strength and unity.
With gratitude,
Thomas Wright
Chair, 2025 Utah Republican State Convention
